Hollywood Pitch Session
Your Story. A Real Hollywood Opportunity.
You’ve written the book, refined the concept, and now you’re ready for the next step: the screen. At Prescott Books, we offer a rare opportunity for select authors and creators to pitch their work directly to a Hollywood executive producer—one-on-one.
This is not a simulation. This is a real hollywood connection hearing your idea—and deciding if it has what it takes for film or television.
What’s Included
This is an exclusive 8 to 15-minute virtual pitch session, conducted over Zoom or Skype, with a verified executive producer actively working in the entertainment industry.
During the session:
- You’ll pitch your book, concept, or script idea directly
- The producer will listen, ask questions, and assess the potential
- You’ll receive real-time feedback—and potentially an invitation to submit materials for option consideration
The producer will evaluate your concept based on adaptability, originality, market potential, and pitch clarity. If they’re interested, they may request your manuscript or treatment for further review.
Who Is This For?
- Authors with a book or story concept suitable for film or TV
- Writers ready to pitch in a professional setting
- Screenwriters or storytellers looking for a direct line to decision-makers
- Anyone serious about breaking into the entertainment industry
How to Prepare
We recommend preparing a tight, focused pitch that includes:
- The logline (1–2 sentence summary)
- A clear overview of the concept and characters
- Why the story is relevant, unique, or timely
- The target audience and format (feature, limited series, etc.)
- Any relevant author background or accolades
We can also provide optional pitch coaching and pitch deck support ahead of your session to help you make the most of the opportunity.
Why This Matters
In Hollywood, access is everything—and time is limited. This pitch session provides a direct path to get your story in front of someone with the power to say yes.
Unlike contests or cold submissions, this is a personal connection in a professional setting—one that could lead to representation, development, or a formal option.
One Story. One Session. One Shot.
You never know what can happen in 10 minutes. If you’ve been waiting for the right person to hear your idea—this may be your moment.
